The infusion of new technologies into commercial
broadcasting has provided traditional broadcasters with
challenges like the introduction of computer technology
into a traditional low tech work environment.  The need to
maintain and provide state-of-the-art analog service, while
at the same time, getting a grasp on the new Digital world,
often requires outside assistance.

CTC Media has provided both project and on call support to
both commercial and government clients over the past
decade. Our support has included assistance in FCC
compliance, radio station acquisition and client directed
fact finding assignments.

Some representative project include:

The implementation of a statewide  AM radio station radio
network for  the Delaware Department of Transportation
(DelDOT) using radio station WTMC, 1380 KHz in Wilmington
as the primary transmitter to support a statewide network of
satellite synchronised 10 Watt co-channel repeater sites .

Performed a study of the technologies employed by US
cable TV companies employ to implement the requirements
of the US Federal EAS system for the Pelmorex Corporation
of Canada. The goal of the project was to develop a
nationwide emergency alert system for Canada.

Technical assistance to radio stations owners covering a
wide range of FCC requirements including: site changes,
power increases, change in frequency, emission
compliance measurements and AM field strength
measurements.
